Cleaning out my father's house I found his high school trumpet in its original case with lots of accessories - mouthpieces, music holder(?), etc. All the valves work smoothly but I would like to know some information on this horn as well as a good place to sell it. Some additional information - on the top of the bell is "Holton-Clarke Model" below that is "made by Frank Holton & Co Elkhorn Wis and Chicago Ill" All these inscriptions are surrounding by etching with ribbons. The middle valve tube has "H-C" "Frank Holton & Co" "Chicago" 55279. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Wow, had two different H-C model questions in the past day. Your serial number would indicate a mfg. date in 1921 time period.

Scroll down on this link, and you'll see another example of your cornet.

Hope this helps .
