Hey guys
ive recently picked up trumpet again after many years of not playing
and bought a doc severinsen getzen which i love, but i have a question...
While playing, there is a suct
ion which causes the pinky slide to extend, and the suction stops when i press the 3d valve... This may be a normal thing, but i dont remember it happening when i played before........is this normal? Thanks guys michael

Not sure I've seen this before. Use a thick slide grease, and this should fix this...

I know this sounds childish, but is your valve in correctly? I know somebody who has a Getzen that can make his first valve slide pop out by just playing when he turns his first valve slightly. Aside from that, I have no clue! I thought that air shouldn't be going to the slide when the valve isn't depressed...

I believe that happens when you move the slide back and forth without pressing down your valve..
