Product Review: This horn is a jewel; easy blow, huge sound, fat tone, even register, solid slotting... I can't think of any detriments - none at all. I have had a 628R, similar but slightly lighter (another Carol Brass trumpet I really liked); this horn, while heavier, is similar but with a slightly deeper, darker, fatter tone. The slotting on this horn is tremendous - very solid slots. If you tend to crack notes on occasion - meet here your lifesaver. Really - this horn is easy to play and rewards you with a marvelous tone and easy open range.
