Thread: key heights

  1. key heights

can anyone tell me if it is normal that the second valve key sits slightly lower than the first and third on bach 180 s trumpets? ..is this to accommodate the natural form of the hand in that the second finger is slightly longer?

Not normal. Could also be the pad/spacer is more compressed on the 2nd valve... Have your valves aligned at a good repair shop, and they should be level...
