    Vincent Bach mouthpieces

    Hi --
I've looked at all the mouthpieces on the page, but I can't find any that match the ones I have. Can you please help?

I have one that says exactly this: VINCENT BACH CORP.,NEW YORK 21/2 C on the front. The font has no serifs at all, and there is both a period, "." AND a comma ","

I have another that says exactly this: VINCENT BACH CORP no period, no comma, no city, and the font has no serifs. On the back it says 1 and nothing else. It is also stamped 24 on the backbore.

Can anyone help date these things? Are they worth anything? Thanks!

Call Sam Ash music in NYC and ask to speak to Josh Landress in the repair department. Tell him Dave Harrison from Wedge mouthpieces referred you. Josh knows more about vintage mouthpieces than anyone I know. He can help.

It's the best I've seen. Pics of the marking might help.

The Vincent Bach Corp (no period, no comma) sounds like early Elkhart - 1965 to 1969. The 24 is the backbore - a non-standard size.
