  1. Bach Cornet - NY Strad (info)

    Hi all,
I've had this Bb NY Bach Stradivarius since i was a kid.
For years I've been trying to gather as much info about it as possible, as well as an approximate value (In case i ever had to sell it )

If anyone can provide any more information, it would be greatly appreciated.

    NY Stradivarius Cornet.
2 tone: Brass w/ nickle accents
    7-10 Bell (7-10-62)
Serial # '2364' and it matches on the valve casing, spring tubes, and under the caps.
From what i've found that puts it around 1934/35 and at the Bronx factory.

If you have anything else please let me know.
    Thank you ahead of time!

  2. You can call Conn-Selmer in Elkhart Indiana and ask for the "shop card" from when the horn was built.

It'll give you a completion date, specifics on the horn, and who it was originally sold to.

The best part is, it's free. All you need is the serial number and an email address. Takes but a few days.

  3. Sorry for the amount of time it took me to reply.

Thanks for the info, I'm definitely going to give them a call.

    Thanks again!
