Hello. I have in my collection of old instruments (of all kinds--mostly flutes) a lovely old trumpet. The bell, beautifully inscribed with a floral design, reads:
New Proportion
Made by
Frank Holton & Co

The serial number seems to be "15526"

The horn is silver plated. I don't know its age; I actually found it at an estate sale many years ago.

At this point, I have no one in my family who plays, and I would love to know the value of the instrument, and probably sell it to some one who would love it. Ideas on how to learn its value, and how find a new owner?
