    Where are the Couesons?

I've always been interested in Couesnons. Yet, always find it hard to find information on them (except of course their fluglehorns ). Are their trumpets/cornets just as good?

I've seen a few through the years, but not very common here in the US. The ones I've seen where semi-professional trumpets and nothing special.

Here's a good article on the history and current status of the company.

In 1978, the contract with Gretch to import Couesnon instruments to the United States was terminated and new Couesnon instruments have been very rare in the US since that time.

Also, here's the website link (French only)
