Pros: Good Quality Horn, Nice Valves, Good Intonation, Finish.
Cons: 1st Spit Valve Placement

This is an awesome horn, I went to Rayburns in Boston, MA and play different flugels for about an hour. I came doen to this and a Bach 200 model. I chose this one because of the valve triggers and the tone was much warmer and deeper. The Bach also didn't have the flexibilty or the range this had. I play it on a 3fl Getzen piece and it sounds awesome. The only issue the first spit valve empties the spit onto the horn, so I just take it out to empty it, other that this is an awesome horn that I would recommend to anyone! 9/10!!!

Pros: Excellent Slotting, Warm sound, good intonation.
Cons: None that I can find

I've owned this horn for about two years now and haven't regretted a minute of it, it really is a joy to play. I auditioned a Yamaha (Bobby shew), Bach, Getzen and the B&S 3145. I tested them as fairly as I could for over two hours and the B&S, for me, won hands down. It slots beautifully and the intonation is spot on with that wonderful deep 'flugel' sound. It sounds like a flugel should sound and not like a flat sounding trumpet! I was originally prepared to spend more and my heart was set on a Bach to match my Strad Trumpet but in my opinion the B&S outplayed it!
