The Bach Stradivarius Philadelphia C Trumpet is one of two recently unveiled Bach C trumpet models based on the famous set of C trumpets sold to the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in the 1950's.

The "Philly" model features a standard weight bell whereas the new "Chicago" model features a lightweight bell. All other specifications between these two new models are identical.

These new trumpets feature a lightweight yellow brass body with a hand-hammered, side-seam #229 bell with a classic, French bell bead(flat, as opposed to the round beads of other common modern C trumpets). The leadpipe is also closely based on Vincent Bach's original design, but has some minor adjustments that greatly improve intonation and evenness. The trumpets also feature narrower wrap and wide-foot braces true to Vincent Bach's original design.
