Pros: Good tone, feel, great mouthpiece excellant horn for the price
Cons: Strange key, some mildly out of tune notes, no case

Worth the money.

The G/F Amati is a spinoff of the Official US regulation BSA Bugle made by Rexcraft, popular in the mid- twentieth century. I would personally prefer the Amati because of its excellant tone quality.
Something that I like about the Amati more than any other valveless instruments I've played is its great flexibilty- ie, you can play notes other than the G arpeggios by bending the note flat or sharp. This charecteristic certainly comes in handy on G's, as they tend to be slightly out of tune, but not as much as the Bach Strad line of trumpets.
The Amati does not come with a case, however, some companies make US Regulation Bugle gig bags, which do fit the Amati. It comes with a mouthpeice, which, even though marked 7C, is still fairly deep and much more comfortable on the mouth than the Bach 7C or 3C.
In all, the Amati does a completely adequate job for its price, and is certainly better than those wall hangars on Ebay.
