Pros: Solid, great for beginner
Cons: Stiff 3rd slide, lacquer

Great for a starter trumpet. Lacquer started to peel off after a month use, maybe I have 'acidic' hands. Good valves.

Pros: bullit proof construction, easy to play, good valves
Cons: suffers from poor UMI reputation

In spite of all bad news about UMI Conn trumpets this horn is a surprise!
Easy to play, a real trumpet sound and made for ages of abuse by unpatient students.
Great value, much better than any Yamaha student horn: the Conn has no red rot after all this years!
