Pros: It's made by Yamaha...enough said! An inexpensive way to experience electronic sounds with trumpet fingerings
Cons: Not enough internal sounds but can be used with a VL 70m or keyboard with GREAT results

I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered the EZ TP but have absolutely loved my EZ TP. I am a trumpet/F horn player so the fingerings are not a problem. Playing the EZ TP does require a different approach from a traditional brass instrument because you don't "buzz" your lips. You simply sing/hum into the mouthpiece so you don't fatigue like you do on a traditional brass instrument. There are some limitations if you don't use an external sound module. With the VL 70m, you can control vibrato, reverb, attack, delay, etc for more "natural" acoustic sounds and control. I highly recommend the EZ TP as a great and inexpensive way to experience the fun of electronic/digital sounds and music. Chris Fischer - Goodlettsville, Tennessee

Pros: Very easy to learn and play
Cons: No showstoppers

So easy to play. Hum and press the valves. I am a complete klutz at learning music. I have tried many instruments including guitar, chromatic harmonica and others. This is the first instrument I have actually managed to get good sounds out of within minutes (good to me anyway). Highly recommended for overcoming the hurdle usually associated with brass instruments - the buzz and embrochure (Some will cringe at this comment but the world is moving on). With this instrument and a computer you can play any brass or similar wind instrument. Welcome to the world of electronic music. Well done Yamaha. Now just do a Sax!
