A marvellous instrument for musicians who want the "german" sound with easy playing.
I don't play a better german trumpet before.

Pros: Response, intonation, sound, craftsmanship
Cons: none

My three year search for a German C trumpet has come to a happy conclusion. After playing a colleagues horn earlier this year, I decided that I would look into this horn. I visited the new shop in Basel, Switzerland, a joint shop with the Egger company, and could not have been happier with the experinece.

Simply put, this is the best rotary trumpet I've played for player who primarily play a piston C trumpet in the orchestra. The quick response and ease of note transitions make this horn feel as comfortable as a good piston horn. This makes the transition from piston to rotary throughout the orchestra season much easier. Even with these benefits, it is not at the expense of the sound. I've found this horn to be appropriate for all German repertoire, from Beethoven to Brahms to Bruckner. Not the best time for exchange rates from US dollars to Swiss Francs, but still worth it in my opinion.
