Pros: Durable, solid slotting of notes, holds up well, great beginner trumpet
Cons: Would not be the ideal for the advanced player, may be too stuffy.

I've purchased 2 of these, as well as several of the laquer 602, and they are the ideal beginner band first trumpet. The finish holds up well, and cleans up easily. The valves on all the 602 series are consistently good, seem to hold compression with time, and are quick to return to position. The slotting, or the trumpet's property to center in on the tone, is very good, probably the best for a beginner trumpet since the old Olds Ambassador.
