Newly designed especially for Jean Baptiste with deluxe engraving not normally found on a trumpet in this price range. The 520 has many outstanding features that give the feel and look of a professional horn. Free moving valves with dual nylon valve guides and enclosed valve springs give you an easy smooth action. Also you will have better Intonation with the availability of a 1st valve saddle and 3rd Valve Ring. This trumpet features two water keys for ease of cleaning.

Pros: Solid Design
Cons: Mediocre Vales

Following the incredible disaster that was the model 610, Sam Ash went with a different vendor to produce the TP-520, however with little improvement to the overall product.
The valves are still generic at best, often prompting students to slather on the oil, which will ultimately destroy the finish and the valve casings. Constant attention must be paid to these horns, which is often beyond the scope of the students they're marketed towards.
