Description:
Chicago Series (CHI 1070)

These Bb trumpets feature the unmistakable look of the classic trumpets designed by Chicago craftsmen a half century ago. They have the same solid feel and soaring sound. It's easy blowing, compact and light wth a third slide trigger.

Pros: Lightweight
Cons:

Very free blowing. I used to own a Benge Burbank 3x+ (.464 bore) that was like this...with a well-worn leadpipe. this horn gives me the free blow and responsiveness of that horn without the corrosion. It's a hard horn to put down, and leave alone. It's a pleasure to play.

Pros: Almost like an original Benge or Besson
Cons: none

Tried this at the Kanstul showroom, it's good. It's like the original Benges and the xlarge .470 bore makes it even better. The tone and power it brings is VERY reminiscent of the Eldon Benges and French Bessons.

Pros: Weight and "largeness"
Cons: Not yet

Wow, what a horn!! I've played for 25 years on a Schilke B7 (small bore) and what a difference this makes. I spend many hours finding the right trumpet for me and this one is it. By the way, this site helped me a lot!! Thanks!!

Pros: comfortable playing feel
Cons: silver plating

It´s very comforable to play. You can manipulate the sound from mellow to sharp, so very versatile. Doesn´t feel like a XL bore.
The valves and slides are lapped very fine, the silver could be buffed more carefully.
