Pros:

Great Free Blowing horn
Cons:
valve springs
This horn compares in sound with a brand new bach or xeno. i think this is an excellent intermediate horn for any beginner through advanced college player. i played one for 12 years before finally buying a pro horn. i like a stiffer spring for the valves, that's the only complaint and reason i upgraded. great sound for a small price.

great sound, durable, finish lasts
Cons:
a little heavy

I can say nothing bad about this horn. My trumpet is 28+ years old and I have played on it the entire time. I love the quality of the sound and the super smooth action of the valves. It works well in an orchestra as well as in a big band venue. The nichel finish is still intact and I believe has protected the horn the few times it has been dropped.

this trumpet is the only one i have ever had. not counting the time i traded it in for a new one but then realized that this was the only trumpet for me. my brother used it, he is 20, and my old principal's son used it. it is really good condition. it has been fixed twice since it has been made. i love it and wouldnt trade it for the world

Pros:

Valve action is light & fast, nice... great for Jazz work even, love the nickel finish as I never have to polish it :)
Cons:
not any I can think of... at least the equal of a good Olds Ambassador
This is the best buy I have made in a trumpet,... but there are good ones & bad within the same model of any horn... maybe I have a good one but judging by the positive opinions of the others also I think they just hit a home run on these horns. Perhaps a little tight blowing due to smaller bore but I have not had any problems in upper register but play pop/jazz instrumental combo's and comp in blues band using a mic almost always, so... this works awesome for me.
A question if anyone knows.... my serial number dates to 1945 using N H White sites listings.... can anyone forward me a seial number off a horn made in that 1969 period for comparisson at usbatman@yahoo.com. Thanks!
