Pros: absolutely the best

The best C trumpet I have ever played by far. It is insane that they are not making these anymore. I have the large bore and it is the instrument I sound best on and I really like my sound on my Bach 180-37, thought it was even better on my Bach model 304 Eb, and had reached the peak on my new Schilke X3. But this beat them all.

Pros: Price, Playability
Cons: Plating

Great Horn!
Plays really well, free blowing and intonation is good.
The only "Flaw" I have found is the plating appears to be a little "thin" in areas like the third valve slide ring and the tuning slide brace which are showing brass on my horn after only 1 year of use. I have a Bach 37 which is over 30 years old and I have no brass showing yet.
If you can find one of these horns do not hesitate to buy it! you will not be disappointed!

Pros: Very nice and open, responds well with volume. No back pressure!
Cons: Not responsive enough at low volumes.

This horn is very... well... perfect. Its just not the horn for me. I personally like a little more resistance, something to "step on". Dont be afraid of its "discontinued" status, if you like a big horn, jump for this one!
