Pictured below is the latest LE model #0700. It was just completed. This is a Lawler Balanced Model built in the style of the Harry James Model Selmer. It is a large bore(.464) with a large taper yellow brass bell ending in a full 5 1/8" rim. The bell is fully hand engraved by Sherry Huntley of Artistic Engraving. A 24K gold high polished finish was applied. This full, fat bright trumpet has that unmistakable James sound!

Pros: beautiful workmanship, big fat sound, good intonation
Cons: none

I traded in another Lawler for this model, which
is a copy of the old Selmer balanced model that
was used by Harry James and Louis Armstrong. This
horn not only projects well, but with the 24kt. gold plating and custom engraving, it is truly
a wonderful horn. I like it better than my Lawler
that I traded in, which I also liked very much.
The valve cluster is top notch, and the horn always gets comments because of its balanced
design, in which the valves are closer to the
middle of the horn than any other trumpet made.
There are very few of these horns out there, and
it could be because of the design and the price.
