The Lawler TLC incorporates my full length #3 Bb leadpipe. Unlike most other C trumpets the Lawler TLC does not just use a Bb leadpipe with about 3 inches cut off of it. By using a leadpipe designed with all of its taper intact will give you the best intonation and response available. My C trumpets often are played by players who have my Bb's. This is becase my C feels more like a Bb so changing back and forth is much easier. The TLC is offered with a yellow or red brass bell. Its made in .464 bore only.

Pros: Beautiful tone, with excellent slotting in the upper register. Very responsive, too.
Cons: Only minor aspect is the intonation on fourth space E/Eb ... but aren't all C trumpets like that?

This is a great horn; and excellent value for the price. More responsive than my Bach, playing evenly across both registers. I would not hesitate to recommend a Lawler C!
