Pros: Amazing Quality, sound and playability
Cons: You have to wait 15+ months to own one and spendy!

The hoen is simply amazing to play. The quality of construction is simply breathtaking. With the right mouthpiece it can play any way you want it too. I am suprised more people don't buy this horn. Trumpets I guess are cooler, but this horn sounds and plays better.

Pros: Plays with any tone and timbre you can think of.
Cons: So darn expensive, Could buy a car instead.

If I was filthy rich I would buy this cornet in a heartbeat. I have never played such a cool instrument in my life. It sounds better than the trumpets. The MF model would be a hard second place. It simply plays so easily it is impossible to even write about, it has to be lived. The music that you can produce is astonding. I played this in the shop in front of my wife and ishe said it was like playing several horns at once with the resonant harmonics. She also stated that as a solo instrument, "just you and the horn," It was very pleasing to listen to all by itself. No other cornet or trumpet even marginally come close to being able to do this. So in the end, Monette trumpets and cornets are expensive for justifiable reasons. I don't know if they perform some mystical magic on these things but they sound like nothing of this world.
