Pros: Great pitch, excellent response, superb tone quality, plays beautifully on both Eb and D sides
Cons: none

This combination Eb/D trumpet features two seperate sets of bells and slides and is a superb musical instrument. It can pass for a light orchestral C trumpet if necessary or cover the full range of solo and orchestral D trumpet literature with no compromises. The Eb side plays every bit as well as the D side. This trumpet has an astonishingly beautiful sound and excellent pitch besides.

Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing...except maybe the price...but it's worth it

Hi Everyone,
My name is Daniel Rosenboom. I've been working with Ken Larson as long as I've been getting work done on my trumpets, and I can say with full enthusiasm that Ken is a master craftsman. I've had my C, B-flat, and E-flat modified and customized by Ken Larson and these instruments were the pinnacle of what I thought possible, even when compared with the newest, hottest instruments on the market. But when I tried Ken's new GFT line of custom instruments, I was completely blown away. I'm actually trying to sell my current instruments, which are spectacular horns, so that I can buy a complete line of these horns. The E-flat/D trumpet is possibly the best trumpet of any kind or key I've ever played. The intonation is superb. The tone is crystal clear, warm, and sweet. Getting between the notes is easy and fluid, articulation is srisp and easy, and the range of possible colors is immense. I'm extremely pleased and excited by this instrument. Ken has indeed produced a masterpiece of an instrument! Bravo Ken!
