Trumpeters who have shied away from the thin, "tin-like" sound of a regular Harmon mute now have an opportunity to hear and experience a warmer, darker Harmon sound that is designed specifically for soloists. The mute maintains this warmth while still generating a centered sound with "sizzle" that projects easily when pushed, thanks to the materials used in making the mute, as well as the physical features and design. This mute sounds absolutley beautifull in the staff. Anything low or high just dosent work. Also, this is not a versatile mute. Dont buy this for section work. The cork fell of mine the 4th day I had it and the copper is discoloring.
