Pros:
Easy to play, valves incredibly smooth (especially for a 85+ year old horn)
Cons:
Hard to find, no first valve thumb hook (no big deal)
I bought this horn off of ebay and I am very pleased with the purchase. The one I bought needs some few minor repairs, it was in great shape for its age. These horns were very popular in their time and still play great today. It has a cool thing on the main tuning slide where you can quick-change from Bb to A. I plays beautifully and also looks beautiful with the ingravings on the bell. Speaking of the bell, it's rather small which may make it a little too stuffy in the upper register for some people. Definitely worth the time and money.
