The legendary feel and intonation of the Eterna Classic is found on the 900 Eterna Sterling. It features the same great trumpet body as the 900 Eterna Classic, but with the addition of a yellow brass mouthpipe tube and an outstanding one piece, sterling silver bell not a plated silver bell like those found on many competitors' horns, but a genuine one piece, hand hammered, sterling silver sheet bell. The tonal colors created by this bell adds to the legend of the great Eterna trumpet.

Pros:
Very freeblowing. Hand hammered sterling silver bell. Rich warm projecting sound and tone. Easily all-around capable.
Cons:
Since the bell is made of sterling, it's soft. Hard to find. Life-time warranty costs $150
11/11/05 This is one great trumpet. This has a real sterling silver bell. Not a plated bell but a hand-hammered one. This gives it a lot of power and sound and is easily the most responsive trumpet I've ever played. I hardly put a breath in and there's already a note coming out with minimal air. Like any other Getzen, the valves are excellent. Just bought in April and it never ceases to please. Great price for it's superior quality. I've been in marching band as lead trumpet and I'm loving it. Very much an all-around trumpet. Strong pedals, low, middle, and upper registers. It can sizzle in lead parts, but still be dark and warm in middle and low register melodies. It can play ANY style as long as you yourself the player plays with the right style and it will do so. I can get a Double G 4 ledger lines above the staff with relative ease on this horn. Not to be biased here but when I tried the bach and conn equivalents, the getzen won in my opinion. In terms of quality it can't be beat. The valve warranty gives me better peace of mind than anything bach or conn can throw for their valves. Getzen also fixed all of the classic accidents set to happen in a marching band situation free off charge and relatively quicky with the 5 year warranty it offers.

Well, marching season has been over for a long time now and this horn is still my optimal choice in jazz and symphonic classes. It's sound can be dark and bright at the same time when used with proper vibrato. It's tone is crystal clear and I've NEVER had an intonation problem with this horn. The valves are still so good that I've forggoten to oil them since a month ago! Not a good idea but it shows that Getzen's valves are superior to all others. The only trumpets in my opinion, that could beat this are either some of Getzen's higher-end custom pro trumpets or Monettes.

High School graduation is looming and I still can't stop playing this. It's just that good. It's a .460 bore, but I swear it feels so much more open than a .460 but it doesn't force you to gasp for air like a big bore horn. Projects very well in any concert hall and still have the warm, rich tone need for classical and jazz and sizzle in lead charts.

Pros:
Bell is 100% pure silver.amazingly beautiful tone.
Cons:
price(it's worth it though.)
This is the only "intermediate" trumpet in this world that offers a one-piece bell, and its made of pure silver too.No other trumpet, and very few jewellery stores offer a piece that is pure silver.Unfortunately, this trumpet is quite rare and rather hard to find on the market.Although an intermediate trumpet,it surpasses lower end Bach Strads and many Yamaha pro-models.(non-Xeno)
