Pros: high quality
Cons: price, tarnish

I recently purchased two black leather velcro valve guards. They work very well and are very high quality.

After leaving them on for prolonged periods of time, I noticed that the valve casings tarnished quicker than normal. After a bit of polishing I got them back to normal, but I still wouldn't recommend leaving these on for too long.

These valve guards are expensive, especially the style 2 which costs 5 bucks more! However, I managed to fit a style 1 on my Schilke with no problems and saved myself the $. I guess quality has a price...

Pros: good leather
Cons: price and tarnish

I got the extra large valve guard. It covers a larger area than any valve guard I have ever seen. Also, it is made of extremely good quality leather. The only problem with this product is that if you don't extensively clean the area that will be covered by the valve guard, the it might tarnish.
