Review Date: 9/9/2007 Would you recommend the horn? Yes | Price you paid?: $900.00 | Rating: 9

Pros: Easy to fill, beautiful sound that will cut if needed
Cons: Bell a little too close to the neck

The model 12 is a wonderful horn for lead work. I have been using it for a while now and am very pleased with it. Slide is smooth as silk and the tone is beautiful. Just the right amount of edge when I need it. The horn I have is a 1966 elkhart and is heavy with a thicker heavier bell than some I`ve seen. Love it !!!
