Review Date: 9/26/2008 Would you recommend the horn? Yes | Price you paid?: $1,600.00 | Rating: 10

Pros: Blows easy, terrific range, nice resonant Bach bell.
Cons: Thinnish sound, slide is good not great.

A great horn for a 1st or 2nd bone in the big band, and a great combo horn.

Despite (or maybe due to) its small bore size, this horn needed a big mouthpiece to make it sing. It sounded a little thin when I first played it on a 7C, but when I subbed it out for something a little larger than a 6 1/2 AL, the sound was much warmer and darker.
