Custom Series Trombones are designed to offer players the ability to choose between different bells and leadpipes. This allows the player to customize their trombone to deliver the desired sound and response. Custom Series Trombones are ideal for college music majors and top professional trombonists.
The 3508Y Custom Series Jazz Trombone features a .500"/.508" dual bore slide and a yellow brass bell. The outside hand slide is lightweight nickel silver with yellow brass end crooks. Players may customize the resistance, sound and response of their setup with the three interchangeable leadpipes that come with the instrument.

An easy playing, lightweight, great sounding bone. Excellent slide. Basically a production version of the most popular options of the Edwards custom horns, in a soldered rather than a detachable package. Good response. Interchagable leadpipes (3 supplied).

I purchased this horn to play primarily in an R&B and funk band. I wound up playing it for musical theater productions as well. I have to say I was impressed with the horn as soon as it was on my face. It felt great, I was able to put a comfortable amount of air through it effortlessly. Everything about the horn was effortless, and it sounded great. Having three lead pipes was great incase I was playing in a smaller jazz group or a full on in your face funk band. I wish I never sold it.
