Kanstul Ceremonial

Description: Key Specifications:
This is a superb, solid instrument, with excellent tone. The build quality totally lives up to Kanstul's reputation. It is offered in Silver Plate or Laquer, with options that include; Lanyard rings, Pro Tec case, and 7C or 3C MP. IMHO, this instrument rivals my Getzen American Heritage Field Trumpet, which is my prime Bugles Across America duty instrument. This Kanstul can be purchased at a remarkably reasonable price[I call it a mistake], at the site shown below. Picture shows a Silver Plate G model, with Amado water key.

Pros: See product description I posted
Cons: Slide-in position approximately 1/2 tone sharp, adjustable with slide; High C slightly flat, but this tone is not normally used in sounding calls.

Pros: Superior construction, great sound, beautifully finished, great price.
Cons:

I bought mine from the same place as "Unregistered" (Thanks, CK!) and can honestly say that it plays as well as many professional trumpets in my collection. It's also a great looker. I would have liked to look at the Getzen M2003 AHFT first - especially since it carries the endorsement of BAA - but this horn costs nearly $200 less and plays like a trumpet. If you should decide to contact Kanstul directly (they will sell you one through a family-run store) it will cost $400 including case and mouthpiece.

Pros: Price, sound and quality.
Cons: Absolutely none.

I was shocked, SHOCKED that there was a bugle available at this price and of this quality - and on top of that it's a Kanstul, one of the very best manufacturers of brass instruments anywhere.

I also purchased this from Pick Music. Priscella was great and as an accomplished trumpet player herself, extremely knowledgeable.

I can say in all honesty that in addition to being a great horn, it's also a tremendous value. This has to be just about one of the all-time best deals I've ever gotten on any horn.

I'm very satisfied.
