Pros:
Very free blowing, easy to play.
Cons:
I've tried out a lot of professional trumpets in the last 2 months.
I'll be puchasing one of these, haven't made up my mind on the bell material yet, but the whole package can't be beat.
I've tried all three of these horns, Brass, Copper and Bronze.
They are very free blowing, sound full and wonderfull and are easily worth much more than they are asking !
But don't tell them that!
The Copper has a very rich sound in the staff but due to the light bell, can really shine above it.

Oh man i love this horn. It blows so nice and the sound is amazing.
I really recommend this horn. And it even comes with a mouthpiece stiffer springs and really smooth fast springs and it comes with heavy and standard bottom caps.

i would definitely recommend this horn. it is probably one of the best horns i have ever played. at first the spit would come out of the bell but after a while it stopped doing that. the sound of this horn is so nice and even though its a reverse lead pipe 470 bore and has a big bell..you can scream so easily on this horn. valves are amazing. its at a great price and they also look very nice

Standard leadpipe wont accomodate all mpc's
Austinwinds is a very professional company and has one of the best horns you can get under $8,500. However, the stock leadpipe will not accomodate many mouthpieces (including monette) so be sure to request a more conventional reciever. This horn is 100% flawless when matched with a monette B2S3 and BLS3. Orchestra, jazz, and chamber is a dream, and i was surprised at how much this thing opens up above the staff when playing the lead book. The bell is huge, so expect torecork your mutes and you might be in need of a new case. My only issue is that the dont make an identical C trumpet.
