Pros: Nice sound and great value
Cons: valves a little stiff until worn, first valve flat

I bought this horn from Dawsons music in Chester (mirage is dawsons own brand) and am on the whole very very happy with it. For £300 it is great value and has a lovely sound wiith the gold brass bell. A few problems however include the valves which tend to stick when not used regularly and feel a little stiff (but mine are still being worn in, i am also washing down and re-oiling the valves now i am using it more) and the first valve slide which is (i think) a little long making fs and Bbs in particular a little flat. spending a bit of time shaving the slide and washing the valves however is a small price to pay for a flugel of this value. i compared this horn with a strad model owned by my band and it is definatly not worth nearly £1000 less, not by a looooooong way.
