Pros: Very good quality
Cons: valves are average

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this horn. I had did some some homework, and found this was probably the original B&S Challenger model I.

The horn is great, and has a very good classical tone. Blends well with others in my section. (I'm 2nd trumpet in a small symphony)

Only comment, would be the valves aren't the best of this trumpet. I am going to have my valves re-aligned/inspected in the next few weeks.

Pros: Sound, Playability, Range, Dynamics, Fit & Finish.
Cons: None

Unbelievable! If I paid $2000.00 or more I would be extremely happy with this horn. I can't afford 2 Grand right now and thankfully the WW and BW has these Allora horns for less than a Grand. I am overjoyed with the playability and sound of this horn! Blue Juice makes the valves work great...the included valve oil does not.

I honestly have to say this is the feel and sound I have dreamed of for years. I do own a Bach 37, a Bach 43G and a King 2070 Legend. All are good horns...Of the 3 the king is the most fun to play. This Allora sounds better and plays easier with more endurance than all of my other horns. As a side note, I also own an Olds Mendez model. It is OK for it's age...a bit worn out.

I really am tempted to try to afford another Allora for back-up ASAP.
