Pros:
Excellent lubricant which works very well given the tight tollerances of the Schilke valves. The lubricant's odor is minimal and not objectionable.

I have tried five or six brands of lubricants over the years and several were satisfactory for most horns and situations. For my Schilke horns none of them work as well as Schilke Ultra-Fast. With the Schilke oil there is improvement in smoothness and speed of operation. The improvement is slight but noticeable. I now use this oil on my other horns. This has not been a controlled scientific study, but rather, subjective observation. There are four or five valve oils on my shelf. The Schilke oil is in my trumpet case.
