The 3052 is a good jazz horn. It is very open, 11.75mm bore, with a little bit larger bell. The reverse leadpipe makes it even more open. Sell this horn to the lead player who has tried the other two and just can't get enough air into the horn. For those who like to wish to only be chosen as the first trumpet in the section, being capable of easily leading the section with a dominant trumpet.

This is an excellent lead/commercial trumoet.
It is a 462 with a very big , well centered sound. Also very open in the upper register , I believe it also comes with an optional lightweight yellow brass bell.

Pros:
Free-blowing and open
Cons:
None I've noticed
I'll agree with the previous reviewer that it's a great, free-blowing jazz horn, but I wouldn't type-cast it as a high-note lead-player machine. I play in several bands, Trumpet II in all of them, and feel it works quite nicely in the mid-range too. You'll never confuse its sound with that of a cornet, for sure, but it's a nice, all-purpose horn. I've found none I like more than this one.
