The quality is superlative in every detail. Peter Bauman as single craftsman made instruments from highest quality in the german-austrian tradition with great love. Every detail of the trumpet is custom-build for the individual needs. I play several trumpets as Schilke X3LB and a New York Bach ml, but no trumpet has the same perfect tonequality like the Baumann.
The bore of my trumpet is ml, and it means on german rotary 441 inch!; so m = 433inch and lb = 449inch
