Pros:
Cons:

the getzen capri trumpet that i bought is great. it was only 769.99, and it is worth the price. it comes with amado water keys which in my opinion are superior to lever keys, and has a great tone. another great thing about it are the valves. super smooth action is to be expected when you buy a getzen. great horn and woth the already cheap price. what more is there to ask

Pros: Killer Valves(super smooth and lightning fast)
Cons: 2nd valve slide gets stuck quick

Great horn for the price. Super smooth valves with the rubber rings instead of felts make a nice combo for lightning fast movement(with the right oil that is). Love the new 3rd valve slide stopper design. HUGE FAN of getzen's small rubber rings on the 1st and 3rd valve slides to prevent damage!
If your a player on a tight budget Buy This Horn Today!

Pros: Well built, light, bright sound.
Cons:

Still play a 1973 590; sterling still in great shape, valves are indeed legendary Getzen! Sound can be made to sizzle pretty easily, though slotting can be pretty narrow in upper register. If today's are still like this one, buy it!

Pros: superb at everything-good at nothing
Cons: Other companies will cry when this Getzen beats their pro instruments.

This "beginner" trumpet isn't good,it's superb-superior to all other beginners horn.

Pros: Beats all other beginner horns.
Cons: N/A (not applicable)

This trumpet really plays more like an intermediate than a beginner horn.As of all Getzens and Edwards, valves are the world's best. They are slick like butter, and are very sensitive.Perfect for players who play fast paced music. The tone is very nice-even for an intermediate trumpet, and intonation is better than average. For the hard-working student, this will easily last till college,by time you may want to move up on the custom series,

Pros: $1280 msrp and would be worth it if it played like my older (mid-70's) Great intermediate/Pro entry horn with lightning fast...legendary... Getzen valve action!!!
Cons: You won't want to put it down!!!

This horn can do it all.....if you can!! Light/crisp for your Jazz mood.......Exquisite and Bold for marching and with the right touch, Concert/Classical is no stretch. By far the best of the best for an all around Trumpet with a great sound that can do it all. The right caress, a little Love and she will respond accordingly!!!

Pros: Very good craftmanship
Cons: Tough in upper register

Good alround trumpet.
Mechanically superb.

But I prefer a Bach TR300 as student instrument. Much better sound.
