Projection great; in tune; very easy to play

This is the best E flat trumpet that I ever played. Low G and F sharp are hard to get sometimes. They come out airy but that might be me. I have had the trumpet for about a year now and am glad I bought it.

Pros:
Intonation, projection, easy to play
Cons:
none, absolutely none
I purchased a used Chicago model E-flat that was on consignment in my local store. It is the best small horn I have ever played. Better than the Stomvi, better than the Schilke! Solid core, impeccable intonation, projection for any hall (or park). The Monette does not have a fourth valve like the Schilke, and that could be a down side, but the sheer playability and large sound more than make up for it. This horn has a much broader, darker sound than the Schilke (IMHO).
These E-flat's are very rare, but if you get a chance to buy one used, do not hesitate, buy it buy it buy it!
