Pros: great valves, good response
Cons: pitch problems in lower register, difficult to hold

This instument is good for players who need a focused, lighter high trumpet sound. It works well in small orchestras, but due to the small bore of the instrument, it can't project very well over large groups. Low C# and D (which are problem notes on any trumpet) are the hardest notes to center pitch. Due to the very small wrap of the tubing, the horn takes some getting used to in order to comfortably hold. Overall it is a good horn, though.
