Pros:
Beautiful tone with Wick mouthpieces
Cons:
Took forever to get valves broke in
Have had my Blessing artist flug since 1986. Took along time to get valves broke in. stick lots. Better finally. Has the old lever spit valves.
The Blessing 4 mouth piece doesn't sound good at all. It fits, other mouth pieces fit a little loosely but easily tighten in without air leak.
Tried a Bach 7, and also poor sound.
Have now both a Wick 3 fl and a 2 fl, and the horn really sounds wonderful with either. There is a slight sound difference but I can't decide which is better.
The horn really sounds good in the lower registers with the Wick mouth pieces.
I play in a brass band, and alots for church and solo for nursing home services. The old people like the mellow non strident sound, and the old hymns bring back deep feelings for them. I enjoy playing this horn.

Pros:
Well made and a great double case.
Cons:
The only compliant is f# plays quite flat.
I use the horn for Church and Big Band. The instrument is a quality horn and well manufactured. I bought mine a couple of years ago and still struggle with intonation especially with f#. I have tried fingering options (all down), lipping the horn still plays very flat on f#. I’ve tried 4 different mouthpieces and have ended up the Yamaha GP. Apart from f# it sounds great.
