Pros:
Good Tone, Quick Valves, Good Intonation.
Cons:
None, for an intermediate level instrument.
Blessing Artist Trumpet, B-135
The tone, with a medium cup mouthpiece, is good, slightly on the brighter side when compared to my ML-1. The intonation is good but I appreciate the thumb hook and adjustable 3rd valve slide ring. The valves are quick. Mine has traditional lever water keys, not Amado water keys, as often stated in reference material. I did not list a price, as I bought mine used. The tuning slides are nickel plated, ensuring smooth slide action. This horn plays better than expected, with out getting stuffy when played high, solid in the middle and good down low, it blends well yet has enough power for lead. This horn is a good choice for the beginning through advanced student and amateur and will play well for most players, though high school, college and community bands. Blessing achieved a nice balance of performance to price.
