A little restrictive at first, but easy to get used to

What a beautiful horn. A little more resistance than I was used to, but it didn't take long to overcome that. Since then, I have not been able to put this horn down. Great bright sound...slots great in all registers...just a lovely horn all around.

Trying to find one after a year!
This horn, I received during March 2004. After playing on a Yamaha for 6 years, I finally jumped up and bought a nice horn. This horn is absolutely beautiful, and just that. Best horn I have played period. Comes with a very nice case also. If there are still some out there, definately jump for it, you won't be sorry. I have been told however that Bach decided to stop production at 1,500 instead of 2k!

Excellent horn love mine, tried loads of strads but settled on this because it is so easy to slot the high notes. Has a bright beuitiful sound, there is more resistance in the lead pipe but this works for me. Highly reccomend, but not really if your into free blowing low resistance horns.

Pros:
very clean sound, works well with different styles of music
Cons:
heavier than my previous horn

My parents bought this horn for me when I was a sophomore in high school to replace my severely damaged Bach student model, and the difference was huge. The store I went to had a large selection of horns that they allowed me to try and we all decided that I sounded best on this one. It was honestly probably too much trumpet for my skill level, but at least there was plenty of room for me to grow!
