Pros: Projection and intonation
Cons: None, except that it feels and sounds very nearly like my C, which may be a bigger sound for that instrument than you want. (I have the L bore)

This is one of the finest Eb's I've ever played.
I've owned Yamaha's and others, but this one is a much better instrument overall. I particularly like the response. If price were NO object, I might prefer a EL3-4L, but it's close and this instrument is much more affordable.

Pros: Pretty good in Eb
Cons: Fair in D, sloppy workmanship

Horn is ok in Eb, but, not that good in D. The Kanstul ZKT1523 is a much better horn as is the Schilke E3L Skip this Bach and look elsewhere.

Pros: great intonation, excellent orchestral and solo horn
Cons:

I had Bach custom build me this horn this past year. It is the deluxe engraved XL bore model in gold plate with a custom-fitted Bach 44 reverse leadpipe and rounded main tuning slide. I put a set of Curry XXCaps on it as well, with aid in slotting. The horn is extremely versatile..sounds great in church solos and Haydn and Hummel. Also works well in both chamber or full orchestra settings. The 256GH bell is versatile enough for Mahler and Handel alike. Truly an excellent horn for the price!

Pros: sound projection intonation
Cons:

great sound in ppp and excellent in FFF, can cut through an orchestra if necessary. I enjoyed it most in churches. allows to fill a church with a soft mp. precise and I never had valve problems

Pros: Large symphonic sound
Cons: Too large for solo work

I use this horn to play some difficult pieces, as Bela Bartok Concerto for Orchestra. Excellent result, but too much sound to play Haydn or Hummel with a chamber orchestra.

Pros: Response, Tone,
Cons:

My Bach EL 229H in Goldplate has a strong, round, warm, very lyrical tone that is perfect for solo work. Although the "EL" model is technically .459 bore, it has a bigger tone than many .462 Bach C trumpets.
Intonation overall is very good, but a few notes have to be humored with alternate fingerings/slides.
