Pros:
Well constructed, good sound throughout all registers,
Cons:
Tuning issues(no third valve tuning)
Because of it's portability, the horn allows the player a horn that can be taken anywhere for practice when transporting your main horn is an issue. THe sound is surprisingly good, and the construction is solid. Valves could be faster. Tuning third valve combinations require lipping.
It's a great horn for Don Cherry like musical situations..he was right, the sound is like that of a dry martini..it is very focused, boardering on thin ( even though I have a broad, dark sound)..
