Pros:
sound, intonation, easy of playing, evenness
Cons:
weird to hold
I bought my Getzen C cornet after owning a Schilke A2C for about one year. The Getzen is far superior to the Schilke. The intonation is better, sound is more even and cornet-like, valve action is unbeatable due to those great Getzen valves. The valve casings are really long and the horn feels a bit weird to hold for the first couple of times picking it up. I use a Dennis Wick 2B and 2L mouthpiece depending on what type of sound I want.
