Pros: Big bell and throat, Yamaha quality, Good valves
Cons: Can't get it with a Shepards crook.

This is an underrated horn for sure. I'm not a Cornet expert but this, like other high end Beginner horns, is really a nice Cornet. The stats on the site mentions it has a 4.8125" bell. It really has a 5 1/8" bell which is really nice. I believe it broadens the tone making less "Trumpetty" in sound. Yamaha is actually the maker of this horn. Its the same as the Yamaha 3210 horns with a smaller price. I have an older model of this horn before they put the 1st slide saddle on it and it has a brace on the tuning slide. The newer ones would probably be better than the older ones!
