Pros: valves run smoothly, great flexibility and sound in all ranges
Cons: none

When I was searching for a cornet, I was hoping to get a conn "victor" model. However, the only horn the store could get at the time was a holton C603. When I bought the horn, I didn't expect much out out of it. After all, holton isn't as well known as conn, king, or bach. But when I tried it out for the first time, I understood why Maynard Ferguson used a holton. For a student horn, this cornet is pretty good.
