Pros: Big Sound! Excellent Finish!
Cons:

The Stomvi Forte is one heck of a horn for the money. I haven't seen a better quality of fit and finish on any other horn. The larger bell reminds me of a Bach 72, as far as response. It plays very well in tune, and I have not had any problem with the valves, as the previous post suggests.Don't you have to oil the valves on other trumpets? I highly recommend this horn.

Pros: Solid intermediate trumpet, great sound and very easy blowing
Cons: None

This trumpet has served me well over the best part of five or six years and has seen me from Grade 5 to Grade 8 and past a diploma in musical performance; the durability of this trumpet is not to be questioned with. The sound of the instrument leans towards that of a classically trained musician, however, with the correct mouthpiece and application this horn still blows fine amidst wind bands, big bands and jazz combos! The valve set on most Stomvi instruments I have tried are very smooth anad this trumpet is no exception. I have had practically nil problems with the efficiency and effectiveness of the valves and have been overly satisfied with their performance. In conclusion, I would very much recommend this trumpet for anyone with a skill set ranging from Grade 4 to 7 and looking to go further with the instrument. This trumpet has seen me well, particularly for it's price, and I have been very pleased with how well it has served me!
