BiNaK 495 and BiNak PRO are "Revolutionary" NEW musical instrument oils with a superior lubrication capability over previous valve, slide, key and rotor oils.
Test sites have stated that they had to lubricate their instruments less often.
This is in part due to the fact that BiNaK 495 and the BiNaK PRO oils DO NOT have an evaporation factor, which in turn is due to the both formulations lack of
petroleum distillation and alcohol.

BiNaK 495 and BiNaK PRO have a "POUR-POINT DEPRESSANT"as part of it's unique structure. This allows it to perform in very cold weather conditions.

Due to the complete removal of all silicones, the BiNaK 495 and BiNaK PRO will not gum-up in warm temperatures.

The BiNaK 495 and the BiNaK PRO will also protect the delicate brass and silver interiors of an instrument by their "METAL PROTECTORS" built within the formulation. They will also protect against the harmful effects of moisture.

From a health aspect, the BiNaK 495 and the BiNaK PRO oils are "HOLISTIC" and therefore, non-harmful to the sensitive throat and lung tissues. These oil contains NO CARCINOGENS OR MUTAGENS and have Material Safety Data Sheets on file.

Last, but certainly not least, the BiNaK 495 and the BiNaK PRO can be used in
all areas of musical instrument lubrication; thereby eliminating the need for additional costly products.

Pros: Incredibly smooth and allows ultra fast action
Cons: leaves more residue then most oils

When first tried Binak it was for a poor quality trumpet with low-grade valves that constantly stuck. This oil actually helped in that the sticking stopped. The only draw-back is there is more residue left then with many oils. This is most evident after you initially switch oils, then as the surfaces become cleaner the residue decreases to a more normal amount you'd typically see. I also use this on my Getzen and it plays longer with slightly faster action then Super Slick and seems to be more tolerant to heat. When you oil your valves, a simple wipe with a cloth will keep them clean. If you have a low quality import horn this may be your best hope.
